Players are not limited by geography. Players come from throughout the Portland metro and surrounding areas.
Northside PDX baseball club practices indoors at PDX team training, which is centrally located off the 405 in NW Portland near Montgomery Park.
Outdoor practices are held throughout the eastside of Portland and usually in N or NE Portland at various parks and high schools.
For the upper ages (full club), players train twice a week indoors during the offseason, and 2–3 times per week during the season, depending on games, with a mix of indoor and outdoor sessions. For the lower ages (Little League augmentation), players meet once per week in both the offseason and in-season, with a mix of indoor workouts.
For Winter, Spring, and Summer 2024, the upper-age package ranged from $2,300 to $2,600, while the lower-age package ranged from $800 to $1,000. Fees are expected to increase by approximately 10% each year to account for costs and inflation. Fall ball fees are separate from these packages.
Families receive electronic invoices and payments are spread over several months, usually with a payment every other month. In 2024, payments were spread over December, February, April, June and July.
The spring season typically includes around 40 games per team for the upper ages. The spring season for lower ages typically includes 12 games. Fall ball season typically includes 10-12 games per team for all age levels.
Most of the games are within 30-90 minutes of Portland. Teams typically travel 2-5 weekends depending on the team. Majority of those travel events are located in the NW.
We do not. However, we partner with specialized coaches and make those contacts available to families for this service.
Northside PDX is a competitive club team, and unlike Little League, equal playing time is not guaranteed. Each coach has their own philosophy on how playing time is managed, so we encourage you to contact the coach of the team that best fits your player to learn more about their approach.
